I swiped all but one of these pics and sound files from two great Looney Tunes sites on the net. Check these guys out:

Special thanks to Dale of Dales Windows95 Theme Page fame for the instructions about how to do this stuff:

I regret that it has been so long since I downloaded dafyleav.wav that file that I cannot remember where I got it from ... but it's a classic!
Now then, installing ....
Three easy steps and you are on your way to Daffy-dum (no pun intended). Just extract this archive to any Temp directory. Then, create a folder called Daffy and move all of these files into it -- except the Daffy (high color).Theme file.
(You can create a folder by simply clicking your right mouse button anywhere on the desktop and selecting New--Folder, and then just name the folder Daffy. Then move the files into it -- make sure you are actually moving the files and not just creating shortcuts to them!)
1) Move the file "Daffy (high color).Theme" to your Themes directory ... most commonly C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes -- then also move the Daffy Folder to your Themes directory too (the path would look like this) C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\Daffy
2) Install the font Benguiat Frisky ATT.ttf (Befrisky.ttf found in your Daffy folder) via the Fonts Folder in the Control Panel. Open up the Fonts Folder, go to File--Install New Font, and make your way to the Daffy Folder. Some people already have this font on their systems as it comes with most HP printers, but I do not know if it is specifically the property of HP <=== liability disclaimer, there ;). If your computer tells you that you already have the font there is NO need to reinstall it.
3) Back up your current logo.sys, logos.sys and logow.sys files by copying them to a safe directory, and then replace them with the new ones provided in your Daffy folder: daflogo.sys, daflogos.sys and daflogow.sys (you will have to rename these three to same names as the originals -- *after!* -- you have backed-up the originals). The originals are to be found in these locations:
C:\logo.sys
C:\Windows\logos.sys
C:\Windows\logow.sys
It is easy to back them up.
a)Just create a directory C:\Logos, and move the original files there. You can create this directory by right-clicking on the desktop, just like you made the Daffy folder. Then move the files listed above into your new folder and either leave it where it is, or stow it somewhere in your root (C:\) directory for safe keeping.
*** Just make sure that you have actually moved the files to that directory and not just created a shortcut to them! ***
b) Copy your new daflogo.sys daflogos.sys and daflogow.sys files (now found in your Daffy folder) to the directories where the original ones used to be. Rename them: logo.sys logos.sys and logow.sys respectively.
This is *a lot* easier than it sounds -- just try it and see! :-)
All you have to do now is go into your Desktop Themes program found in the Control Panel, select Daffy (high color) from the pull-down menu and have fun!
*Notes*
*This Daffy theme is best when run in high (64,000 colors) or true (16,000,000 colors) modes. In 256 colors, the background picture will be fine, but the icons will not look right. If you are running in high or true color mode and you still experience problems with the colors of the icons, be sure that the option "show icons using all possible colors" is checked on the Plus Tab under Display Properties.
**The background wallpaper, robinhod.jpg, is 800 X 600 -- if you are running anything different, just be sure to have the "stretch wallpaper to fit screen" box checked under the Plus Tab in Display Properties. Also, it will disply without any problem as is -- ie, it does not need to be converted to a bmp ... if you are interested, see Dale's Instructions for more info on how that is done.
*** I played with the logo.sys, logos.sys and logow.sys files a little to try and make them look more presentable, esp. by adding a caption to each one of them. If you are wondering why they look a little amiss, it is because files have to be contorted to a ridiculous, predetermined MicroSoft (PMS?) size to work properly as logo files, which distorts them somewhat. If you wish to tweak them further yourself, just change the ".sys" extension to ".bmp", open in a graphics editing program, tweak, save as a ".bmp" file, and then change the extension back to ".sys". DON'T change the size or amount of colors or they will not display properly.
****There are no animated cursors or icons and no screen savers with this -- perhaps I will come up with some in the future, but feel free to create your own too! (ie, don't hold your breath!) -- Daffy doing the "tick-tock" thing would be cool!
